Arizona State Fair and Bowling

This past Friday, Chris and I went to the Arizona State Fair. We had so much fun last year that we couldn't miss out this year. We went through the petting zoo, did some quality people watching, and saw the monster trucks. It was great! The petting zoo was my favorite. The baby goat started to eat my hair and another goat came up from behind and started eating my cardigan. Chris and I were laughing so hard over the llama; It just didn't give a crap that people were posing next to it every second. All I could think of was Emporer's New Groove. After the fair, we went bowling and I totally beat Chris. That never happens!

Murder Mystery and Happy Halloween!

Our friends the Saager's put together a Murder Mystery dinner party. It was so much fun and I have always wanted to do one. I was Cherie the maid and Chris was Father O'Malley. Neither one of us was the murder, but I totally thought Chris was during the whole game. It ended up being Courtney. I hope we get to do one again next year.
For Halloween, the Saager's invited us over to Brad's parent's house. His mom gets way into Halloween and it was awesome. Chris and I went as "Black Eyed Peas". I also did this costume for school that day and the kids thought I was a pirate. What?

Jessica and Afton Come to Visit/ FHE Pumpkin Carving

A few weeks ago, Jessica brought Afton down to visit with Josh, Lilybelle, and me. We went to the Arizona Sea Life Aquarium, the Zoo, to Last Chance, to a pumpkin patch, to the playground, and much more. I think they had a great time even though Afton was a pain at the zoo. Good thing she is so cute.

This is how Josh takes Lilybelle longboarding. She loves it.

We took the girls to Last Chance with us. We pretty much left them in a shoe aisle and let them try on every shoe while we did our thing. It was pretty entertaining. They are such girly girls. The workers didn't like them that much though.

For FHE the other night we carved pumpkins with our friends. Our pumpkin lasted a total of three days before it got rotten and moldy. I guess it just can't take the Arizona heat. Malorie's little baby, Lincoln, loved eating the pumpkin for some reason. We sat and watched him for a good ten minutes. It was hilarious.

Fall Break Utah Trip

For my fall break, I got a week off of teaching and headed home to Utah to visit. I got to take Jenny's dance class again, see my in-laws, go shopping, hangout with Lexi and baby Addy, visit with Lagoon friends, see Emily and baby Eve, cuddle with the puppies, and enjoy the wonderful cold weather. I had such a good time and I was so sad to go back to Arizona. I just love Utah so much, but it was nice to get back to Chris. I felt bad that he didn't get to come with me.

Eve is adorable!

I couldn't get enough of Addy. I was sad to leave her.

I got to visit with my Aunt Della and Uncle Ralph

We fed Addy a lime. The video is below.

Ward Campout 2013

We had a ward campout in September, and Chris and I headed up with the Gregory's and Saager's. We pitched our tent on the total opposite side of everyone else in the ward because there was no room. We actually were happy to be far away from the screaming children. We had stew that the Banner's made, and then we had a little devotional. It was cold and we loved it! We are so sick of the heat. Sleeping without a mattress pad is not the best, but one night didn't kill us. In the morning, we had breakfast and played games with everyone. We played in a bean bag toss tournament (we lost horribly) and some other games. It was actually really fun and we were glad that we went. After the campout, we headed to Saager's cabin where we spent the night. We hiked to a waterfall, roasted hot dogs, watched the BYU/Utah game, played pool, and just relaxed. It was a lot of fun and the cabin was beautiful.

Hiking up to the waterfall this was the view

Everyone jumped off this log and apparently it was freezing. I didn't have a suit so I took pictures.
