Saager Halloween Party 2014

For the past 2 years we have been invited to Brad Saager's parent's house for their annual Halloween party. Brad's mom loves Halloween and goes all out! There were games, food, a DJ, piƄata's, and all sorts of fun things to do. The Saager's even have a desert tortoise as a pet! We kept trying to play with him but I think he hated us since he kept moving back to his wall corner. Tahnee won the jar guessing game, and everyone voted on best costume. Chris and I debated on what we were going to dress up as, and I saw a picture of a pregnant woman wearing a shirt that said "I eat small children." I then came up with the idea to have Chris be the cook and I be the one that ate the kids. We were pretty proud of our creativity. We colored in Chris' mustache to make him look even more like a creep. It definitely worked!
Now that Halloween has come and gone, all we have left now is to wait for little baby to come! Due date is in three days. It's going to be one crazy, exhausting, terrifying, happy, overwhelming, and amazing change! We can't wait!
Boo sent this picture of Zeke and his Halloween costume as the horse of the headless horseman. I loved it! I think Zeke thought otherwise.

I have not stopped laughing at this picture since we took it. We were all dying at how funny Chris looked with his "gobbler" double chin and disgusting mustache. You can all thank me later.
The desert tortoise was not fond of Chris and the moose hat. He weighed around 60 pounds!

Arizona State Fair, Halloween Ward Party, DV Baby Shower, and more of Baby Evans

The time is coming up when we finally get to meet our baby girl! I am 38 1/2 weeks pregnant, and Chris and I can't wait to meet her. We are trying to get in as much as we can before she comes...

Just to name a few, my Desert Vista Varsity Dance Line threw me a tea party themed baby shower. It was so adorable and I loved everything about it. Bianca had a onesie-making station, different types of tea and lemonade to drink, and all sorts of treats and decorations to honor the arrival of Baby Evans. My ward threw me a shower as well but I was having too much fun and forgot to take pictures....oops.

In September, I headed out to California to meet up with family at Disneyland. We stayed in the Grand Californian hotel and enjoyed time at the beach, both parks, and the pool. Even though we had 8 people staying in one room at one time, somehow we managed to make it work. Of course I was bad at taking pictures and only ended up getting pictures of Baby Addy because she is so adorable!

We made it out to the Arizona State Fair for our annual visit and had a great time. Of course we stopped at the petting zoo to feed the goats and llamas and got to hear Colbie Callait perform a few of her songs. We have enjoyed making the fair a tradition while we are here in Arizona.

Last night we had the Cameron Ranch Ward Halloween Party. To say that we enjoyed the photo booth is an understatement. We spent pretty much the whole time there. Later that night we decided to do what we call "Punkin' Chunkin'....we got the idea from Modern Family. Boys against girls of course, we went to Wal-mart and had to find something for under ten dollars that would launch the small pumpkins we bought. Unfortunately, the girls lost, but it sure was fun to launch them.

Chris and I were fortunate enough to get a 3D ultrasound of Baby Evans. It was fascinating to see her move around, open and shut her eyes and mouth, and use her hands to rub her face. My parents were down here at the time and got to see it with us. We are dying to meet her! We finally got her nursery all put together and now it is just the waiting game. Let's hope she comes on time...

I took her back to the hotel for a nap and she was so tired she couldn't even make it to the room
So happy with her ice cream

My poor Dad has always wanted a convertible....but no...he gives everything to his kids instead and is happy just to test drive his dream car. Look how happy he is....
Chris was doing some modeling in Banana Republic....I told him it definitely wasn't his look ha ha!

Emily Brewer sent me this picture one day....you have to admire the man still working in his "animal/fish stuffed" office even at 70 years old.

Baby Shower, Vegas/St. George, Rodeos, and More...

Before the baby comes, Chris and I have been trying to enjoy life with just the two of us. We are so excited for our little baby girl to come, but we know this is going to change our lives forever...for the better at least.

Lexi and Jessica threw me the most gorgeous baby shower I could ever ask for! The whole event was stunning and it was so fun to see old friends come and support Chris and me. The pictures don't even do it justice.

Chris and I went up to Payson/Sedona with the Saager's and Gregory's a few weeks ago. We went to the Payson rodeo (my first ever!) and then went up to Saager's cabin to enjoy the weekend. We also hiked down to Tonto Natural Bridge. I am always so shocked by how hard it is to hike just a little ways when you are carrying around some extra weight. It was a great weekend away and it's always nice to get away from the city.

I met Jessica, Lexi, and their kids in Vegas at the end of July. We spent one night at the MGM Grand and then headed up to St. George. Addy took her first steps and we celebrated the 24th of July with some fireworks in the driveway.

I started coaching DV Varsity Dance Line with Bianca in August. We have 19 girls on the team and it is so fun to choreograph and coach them. We will head to competition in March.

Chris is enjoying school and learning so much. He has already started seeing patients in the clinic (including me) and we can't wait until he feels comfortable to be on his own. Next year he will be doing rotations around the country before graduation.

Had a weekend away with Tahnee, Malorie, and Courtney. We went to Scottsdale and enjoyed the free weekend.
Found these lovely pictures of Chris when he was about 11.
Such a cute little kid!
And then he grew up.....ha ha, just kidding. Chris was fooling around with some dentures he made at school.
He makes me laugh

We went to DQ with friends and ended up getting a whole bunch of free ice cream. All those cups belong to only 6 people.
Me, Tahnee, and Courtney bowling. We beat the boys by 3 points!
