February

February has come and gone so quickly! Hadley will be 4 months on Sunday, and I can't believe it was that long ago that I had her. It feels like it was yesterday. February was a very fun month for us. Chris' birthday is always a good time, and my sisters and parents came down for our annual sister's trip. We shopped, hiked, saw movies, and ate delicious food of course. I am always so sad to see them go. It is crazy to think that next year will be the last year we are living in Arizona when my sisters come down for the next trip.

Our ward had a game night party with just adults (and Hadley too) and it turned out to be so much fun. Our team lost by only a few points. I got extra points for dropping into the splits while I was holding Hadley. I must say I get a little competitive when playing games. Luckily I got on video one of the challenges that the guys on our team had to do. It was very amusing and entertaining.

One of the guys in Chris' dental class used to be the Phoenix Sun's Gorilla mascot and had the tramp and mat he used to practice tricks on. He brought it to a potluck that we had, and all the guys pretended for an hour to be so athletic. Tahnee and I enjoyed every second of watching our husbands act like they were so talented.

Hadley is progressing and growing so much each week. Just a few days ago she rolled from her stomach to her back. She absolutely hates tummy time! We still haven't gotten a big giggle out of her yet even though she acts like she is going to do it any moment. She loves to watch me choreograph and teach dance to the girls out at the high school. We just started introducing rice cereal to her and she still doesn't know quite what to do with it. She loves to take naps with Mom and really loves to suck on her hands even though I am trying to get her to not do that. She hates when I wipe her face and doesn't really like taking a bottle. Our favorite thing that she does recently is open her mouth super big when we get close to her because she wants to eat our nose. People weren't kidding when they say that they grow too fast.

This month we will get to go to San Diego for Spring Break and stay at the Navy Lodge on Coronado Island. We also will get to see Chris' parents and Kallen when they come down to visit. We can't believe it is already March, and we are excited to spend time together as a family.

Chris and I went up to the ESPN Fan Zone when the Super Bowl was in Arizona. We also drove downtown to see the transformation for the big game.

They had to shake all the ping pong balls out the the kleenex box tied around their waist.

Lexi cut Chris' hair while she was down here, and next thing we know, Dad has picked up the hair cut off of Chris and puts it on his head. We were laughing so hard. Anything to not be bald.

  1. Your life is crazy - but so fun. Crazy how quickly Hadley is growing! It's a wild ride, for sure.
