8 Days of Summer

Chris only had 8 days off this whole summer from Dental school since they have to run the clinic all summer. So, we decided to go to Utah of course (aka "The Holy Land" as Chris calls it) and spend time with family. Whitney and Alan came to Utah with their kids and we were able to spend time with them as well. After seeing friends and family for a few days, we headed down to St. George with Chris' family and had such a great time. The 4th of July was a success and the weather was ideal compared to 110 degrees in Arizona.

When we got home, we had our next ultrasound so we could see all the anatomy of the baby. Everything looks great and she weighs 1 lb and 1 oz at 22.5 weeks. She was moving around like crazy yesterday, and Chris can finally feel her kicking. My belly has finally popped out and it actually has been a lot of fun so far. However, I know it only gets worse from here.... 4 months to go!

It was so fun to see the baby again! She was a stubborn little thing and wouldn't turn over for a while so we could get a good profile shot. We finally got it.

Lexi left her sunglasses in my purse. They were put to good use walking home from church.

Baby Addy kept biting her toy that I was dangling in front of her and then she wouldn't let it go. Funny girl.
Chris says he doesn't want a dog right now, but I think he is lying.

St. George fun with Chris' family. Weston wasn't too happy about me taking a picture. And, of course when I try to get a picture of Chris and Kallen, they make such beautiful faces.

Jessica found these pictures one day. The top one is after I didn't win prom queen. Jessica ran across the Olympus High School stage with that sign and the spotlight guy followed her because he thought she was a student. One of the funniest things I have seen her do.
The bottom picture is when I dyed my hair blonde (won't be doing that again) and Annie was still alive. We loved that dog!

  1. Congratulations Chris and Emily! You will be a great Mommy Em, and a great Daddy Chris. I couldn't be happier for you. Hang in there Emily. It sounds like you've been lucky with no sickness. By the way, we have two of our own: Seth Jr and Rose! Looks like you are well :)
