Tales of the South Pacific

South Pacific ended up being one of my favorite shows that I have ever done. I got to play Nellie Forbush, and I must say I surprised even myself with how naturally the part came to me. Usually I play the mean, bratty, seductive characters, and Nellie is completely opposite of that. I strengthened my legit voice and playing this part brought back a lot of confidence that I thought was long gone. I met some amazing people, and I remember why I love musical theatre so much! I was so sad to have it end, but I look forward to trying out for other shows and gaining new opportunities.
My parents came down twice to Arizona to see me in the musical. Even my Uncle Gary, Aunt Elon, and cousin Brittany and her husband Nate came to see the show. I was also very fortunate to have some of my good friends Tahnee, Nikki, and Malorie come. I have a wonderful support system, and I couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you to everyone who came. It meant the world to me.
