Chris finally caught up with me again and had his 28th birthday on February 3rd. We left Hadley with the Gregory's and went to Zinburger for dinner. I gave Chris some new sunglasses and the board game Settlers of Zarahemla which he played all the time in Finland with some of the missionaries he roomed with. We also went to Joe's Farm Grill for lunch which is a tradition because you get ten dollars off....oh, and we share....we're cheap like that. He said he had a good birthday even though our birthdays aren't that great anymore now that we are getting older and we have a baby.
My Grandpa Giauque passed away on Saturday, January 30th. He was 97 years old and I shared a birthday with him along with my dad and Uncle Brent. It was very bittersweet because we knew that he wanted to return to heaven to be with my grandma and his son, Tom. Hadley and I were going to fly home for the funeral, but Hadley got RSV and the doctor said we couldn't fly. I heard the funeral was very nice and there was a feeling of comfort and peace.
Hadley is now 3 months old and getting so big! She smiles all the time and sometimes we can get a little laugh out of her. We know she will let out a big giggle any day now. She hasn't rolled yet, but she is very alert and so much fun to interact with.
Chris received his rotation schedule for the next school year, and all the rotations are great. We get to do two in Utah (Salt Lake and Provo); one in Hidalgo, New Mexico; one in Winatche, Washington; and the others are all local in Arizona. The only one that Hadley and I can't go with Chris on is Winatche, but we will visit as much as we can. We are excited to start that process and look forward to Chris getting more dental experience.
Next week, all my sisters and my parents are coming down for our annual girls trip. I cannot wait to have them here.

This was our cast picture from "Dames at Sea" last year that we finally received. I had a wonderful time doing this show and I was barely pregnant with Hadley. |

The Superbowl was held in Arizona this year and the whole downtown area was transformed. It was really neat to see. |

Hadley likes to put her arm in our shirts when she sleeps. It comforts her. She found an opening in Chris' dress shirt during church. |

Just loving her blanket and binky while watching basketball with Dad |
